Questions we hear most
If yours is not here, call us.
Do I need an exam if I see fine?
Many eye conditions cause no symptoms early on, so a routine exam is worth keeping even when your vision seems fine.
How often should I have an exam?
It depends on your age, your eyes, your health and your prescription. Many adults come every year or two, and Dr. Zheng sets the schedule with you.
Do you work with my vision plan?
We work with many vision plans. Call to confirm yours, and the front desk checks what it covers before you come.
Why was part of my visit billed to medical insurance?
When the doctor looks into an eye problem or checks an eye disease, that work is medical. The routine part of the visit goes to your vision plan.
Can I fill my prescription somewhere else?
Yes. Your prescription is yours. We give you a copy after your exam and fitting.
Can I have my contact lens prescription?
Yes, once your fitting is complete.
What should I bring to my first visit?
Your current glasses and contact lenses, your prescription if it is from another office, a list of your medicines, and your insurance cards.
How much will it cost?
It depends on the frame, the lenses, your plan and what the doctor does. Read how fees work, or ask the front desk for a written estimate.
