At the bench

Fitted at the bench, not just handed over

Every pair leaves the shop level on your face, resting on your nose without pinching and staying put when you look down.

  • Measured on you

We measure and adjust the frame on your own face, not on a model's.

  • Lenses to match

We help you choose lenses for your prescription and for how you use your eyes.

  • Looked after

Loose screws, bent temples and worn nose pads are handled at the bench.

Our team

The people behind the wall of frames

Dr. Zheng sees patients in the exam room. Naveen and Quynh run the shop floor and the bench. You will meet most of us at a fitting.

    • Doctor of Optometry · OR Optometry license 000000

Dr. Zheng runs the exam room behind the shop. She sees adults for eye exams and contact lens fittings, and writes the prescription your frames are built around.

  • Naveen Kumar smiles in black-framed glasses and a green sweater

    Naveen Kumar

    Optical assistant

Naveen helps you choose frames and fits them to your face. He knows every shape on the wall and why it sits the way it does.

  • Quynh Bui smiles in glasses and a white shirt against a teal wall

    Quynh Bui

    Optical assistant

Quynh keeps the bench: adjustments, repairs and the last check before your glasses go home with you.

Kind words

After a fitting

“I came in for reading glasses and left with a frame I would never have picked from a photo. Naveen kept handing me shapes until one was right.”

Marieke V.Frame fitting

“The exam took its time and Dr. Zheng explained each step. Then I walked into the shop and picked frames with someone who had my prescription in front of her.”

Dirk H.Eye exam

“My frames had slipped down my nose for years. Quynh adjusted them in a few minutes and they have stayed where she put them.”
