Contact lenses
Contact lenses, fitted and checked
A contact lens exam is an eye exam plus a fitting. Dr. Zheng measures how a lens sits on your eye and checks how it feels before you take any home.
Your prescription is yours. We give you a copy after your exam and fitting, and you can fill it anywhere.
What it includes
An eye exam first
A fitting and a trial pair
Teaching, if you are new to lenses
A follow-up visit

What happens
The fitting follows your eye exam, on the same day or a second visit.

Step 1: Exam and measurements
Dr. Zheng measures your eyes and the shape of the front of each one.
- 02
Step 2: Trial lenses
You try a pair in the office and wear them for a while before we judge how they fit.
- 03
Step 3: Handling and care
If you are new to lenses, we teach you to put them in, take them out and look after them.

Step 4: A follow-up visit
We check how the lenses are working for you and adjust the fit if needed.

About contact lenses
Can I have my contact lens prescription?
Yes. When your fitting is complete, you get a copy of your prescription. You can fill it anywhere.
Can I sleep in my contact lenses?
Only if Dr. Zheng has told you that your lenses are meant for it. Ask at your fitting.
What if my eyes are red or sore?
Take your lenses out and call us. If you have sudden vision loss or an eye injury, call us right away or go to an emergency room.
Book an exam
Mention contact lenses when you book, so we set aside the time.
